Anyone looking into Hotel Shares?
The year end is coming and hotels would be flooded with businesses and the sector would be bullish too.
Plus, next year is Visit Malaysia 2007 year. Good for long term investment also?
Also need some info on good hotel shares if any of you had invested in any before.

KLCCP - I think its good, they manage oriental and traders hotel, good dividen oso.

I don't think Visit Malaysia Year 2007 will have much effect. Every year also is Visit Malaysia Year lah. They use the same advertising all the time.  Angry

Even watching football on Astro time you see the banners in Old Trafford flash Visit Malaysia Year 2006. Haiiihhhh...

Having said that... I found that luxury business class hotels have a much higher occupancy rate than I thought... Because all the corporate travellers get better rate and abuse their company's money...

Invest in those hotels are better than the "resort" hotels, because that depend on the season one.
