Go stock by stock ... not Volume. If we look back, it turned out Jan & Feb were the Best month to invest and these TWO month have the LOWEST volume traded ! I am not saying to invest when Volume is the lowest ... but .... Volume is not important if your objective is to make a LOT of money. When I say a Lot of Money, I mean Net PROFIT ... not percentage or rate p.a. which could be very misleading.  No doubt net profit is the ultimate goal. But its the return rate that distinguish you from the typical investor/traders. Say, if in the bull run market index is up by 50%, then that 50% should be your benchmark. If you outperform the market index, then you're commendable. However if you brag that you manage to make 10k by using a capital of 50k (in other words, you only achieve 20% gain) then you should really reflect whether your stock selection is a recommendable one or not. One should expect to get that 10k net profit using only 20k capital in an environment where general market is up by 50%. Therefore using absolute number is more misleading. |

Don't rush into collecting stocks. This pull back is going to be bigger than the last few. It is going to flush out those contra champion. A good time to consider buying probably 2 or 3 days later.

ya, agreed with the drop is healthy pullback. layman has seen that, yesterday, selling 52%. today selling 63%(4.12pm), volume increased from 2b-3b for the past 3 trading days, today might be kept at 2b. High tendency to push up the share price to release T+3, or continue the rally on uptrend. Today's trade mostly sell/buy in small volume transaction mainly contributed by uncle auntie including those quarrel at the trading floor... buy at hope, sell at fact.  |
