PETALING JAYA: Internet-based applications and solutions provider The Media Shoppe Bhd (TMS) and Hopetech Sdn Bhd are expected to be jointly awarded a RM21mil contract to design, supply and commission passenger information and closed-circuit television systems for KTM Bhd. The job will take up to 14 months to implement and will be awarded by the Transport Ministry, according to sources. An announcement that will incorporate more details on the contract is expected to be made today. Hopetech, according to its website, is a systems integrator and solutions provider for automated revenue collection, road telematics and secure electronic payment systems in the transportation and electronic purse sectors. Its core business is providing solutions to toll and fare ticketing systems and it counts, among others, Projek Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan (PLUS), KL-Putrajaya Highway and Penang Bridge Sdn Bhd as its clients. TMS recently created headlines when its stock shot up on the day it announced that it had entered into a teaming agreement with Konsortium Jaya Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Lembaga Tabung Haji, to submit a proposal to the Government in relation to a management system project for 10,000 schools nationwide. TMS made the announcement on the same day when 312.63 million of its shares and 234 million of its warrants were granted listing and quotation arising from a rights issue, pushing the TMS stock and its new warrants up more than 10-fold. The stocks continued their uptrend from then on, with the mother share reaching a multi-year high of 47.5 sen on Jan 31. During the period of uptrend, company directors Christopher Chan Hooi Guan, who is also TMS chief executive officer, and Chan Chooi Teng disposed of their freshly issued warrants equalling to about 20% of the total warrants issued. TMS had not elaborated on the school project but StarBiz had reported that it was valued at some RM450mil and would involve the supply of education software to the schools. When and should it materialise, the project will supposedly turn the loss-making TMS around, according to a source. It should be noted that following the rights issue, TMS is now sitting on a cash pile of some RM33mil, which allows it to fund various projects to expand its business. TMS was last traded at 30.5 sen on volume of some four million shares.

As stated on recent comment above, TMS-WA today finally hit a low of RM0.095. Oly Securities expect further price press down with at least a maximum of RM0.065 - RM0.075 price level. Mother share finally falls below the price level support at RM0.41 which might indicate further free fall by tomorrow onwards. More downside expected for TMS and it's warrant for at least until a positive announcement being made regarding the status of the recent collaboration teaming government project.

RM0.065! Ramalan sudah menjadi kenyataan......

I'm eager to see how low TMS can go. Mau turun kasi turun cepat sikitlah.....turun sikit sikit lambat lambat anyak boring lah.....kita mau tu dia punya bottom price berapa mah! Kalau ikut hati back to normal ialah 9 sen jer..... Meanwhile, TMS-WA masih kuat at the moment......itu sebab wa cakap mother share lagi banyak risiko dari anak....
