becoz i already started the conversion from warrant to mother share.........thats why i know.......... let me teach you all how the conversion is done......... i bought 20 lots warrant at rm0.125 last week............. yesterday i call my maybank remiser convert all 20 lots from warrant become mother share.....for the conversion exercise price i have to pay RM0.10 for every units that i want to convert.......... so 20lots x RM0.10 = RM2,000 plus some broker fees in total i paid extra RM2,025 to Maybank which channeled this money to TMS for the conversion charges......... My 20 lots shares will automatically become mother share in 3 weeks time......... my new price in 3 weeks time is RM0.125 (warrant price) + RM0.1 (conversion price) = RM 0.225 new mother share price........ so if the mother share price now in the market drop to RM 0.30, i still earn RM0.30-RM0.225 = RM0.075 x 20,000 = RM1,500 profit BUT after i deduct this RM1,500 from my conversion cost RM1,500-RM2,025 i will get RM525 losses.............................. ada faham ker?
Ur nett profit = RM1500 - (RM25 + brokerage fees)

Just bought at 10.5 cents. Worth the risk, as mother price consolidating. If convert to mother, my cost will be 20.5 cents. As long as mother above 22 cents, should make some money.
Only risk is during the time it takes to convert, mother share price may go down!!
So, best is to watch and see, if after lots of people convert, mother still hold price around 22 cents. If it drops, sell lah. Agree.

one more thing to add.....if u convert into mother share on hand.....the new share can only trade after 10 working days....so maximum 2 weeks at least u needed......
now the mother sudah kabut~~~ so 5 years from now.....just cut loss or hold~~~~

Wijaya's warrant is a different case. I'm surprised it even moved at all, since their conversion price is RM1.25, and its mother is far from reaching RM1.25. At the same time, maturity date is nearing (September 2012). Wijaya's warrant had been intrinsically worthless all this while, other than the little bit of time value left......unless, they expect Wijaya mother share to rise above RM1.25? Maybe the market knows something that we don't know about....or they were just purely goreng for a quick buck. At least your TMS warrant is new, and is temporarily at a discount, and with an exercise price of RM0.10, it should theoretically trail the mother share's movement quite closely. Anyway, good luck to all TMS holders.

i understand......... but the fact is if you buy warrant then convert to mother shares u will incur extra cost to of 10 cents for every units of warrants and this money is paid to TMS as charges for converting the warrants......... for example you have 20 lots of warrants u bought at 11cents, then u convert to mother shares at 10cents each unit....this will cost you extra RM2,000 now u have mother share at RM0.11+.10 = RM0.21 cents each....... the mother is RM0.30 so u sell, u earn profit RM0.3-0.21 = RM0.09 per units x 20 lots = RM1,800 earn........ RM1,800 earn minus the cost incurred for converting the shares , RM2,000, therefore in return u get losses RM200............. therefore the fact that mother price RM0.30 sell can get 50% profit is totally false....... sorry bro but this is the actual fact.......... but if the mother can maintain above 40cents every day, then u can smile a bit........ the higher the mother is the better for everyone.......... Tq haffiza, very good info

when i buy 20lots @ rm0.11 = 0.11 x (20x100shares) = 0.11 x 2000shares = rm220.00 (1st cost)
when convert to mother share have to pay extra rm0.10 per share, tats mean, 20lots x 100shares = 2000shares 2000shares x rm0.10 = rm200.00 (additional cost)
so now i have 20lots of TMS (mother share), my cost = 1st cost + additional cost = rm220.00 + rm200.00 = rm420.00
after 3 weeks, the convert done, mother share's market price = rm0.30 so, i sell it... 20lots x 100shares x rm0.30 =2000shares x rm0.30 =rm600.00
so the end my cash on hand rm600.00 minus 1st cost and additional cost, rm600.00 - rm420.00 = rm180.00 (brokage depends agent or bank)
so with 3 weeks waiting, i get back around rm100.00++, am i right?

這個憑單就是TMS-WA(TMS-WA,0060WA,創業板科技股)。
So please sold all ur mother share and buy back after conversion is done !!!!!!

Generally, warrants (ie with a -wa suffix) issued by the mother company, can be converted into mother share by paying the exercise price. However, call warrants that are issued by investment banks (ie with -ca, -cb....-cz suffix) are for gambling, and are usually cash-settled upon expiry. These call warrants can't be converted into mother share. TMS-wa can be converted into mother share by paying the exercise price to the registrar.
