Best Brokerage Fees
« on: August 02, 2009, 02:36:03 AM »
I get a very good bargain for my brokerage fees from alliance investment bank which is at least 40% cheaper than my previous broker (HLG Investment Bank) and they are both using the same vendor call excelforce msc sdn bhd, so basically the trading platform is the same and trader no need to worry about switching to a new broker and get use to a new trading environment. All i can say is for those that can hit over RM 1 million turnover monthly, he/she surely will get a "FLAT" rate from AIB regardless day trade or over night (normal) trade. Trust me. No harm to contact them and find out.

If you use Jupiter Securities, the rate is only 0.10% and minimum RM 10..if contract value more than 50K you can get 0.05% broker fee..this rate only apply for online trading..as much as 90% discount from normal rate..

I cant disclose much of the rate from alliance investment bank else they will screw me up but it's definitely less than 0.15% flat for both day and normal trade BUT they give trading limit in the multiply of three times of your cash. Jupiter best offer of 0.05% is under cash upfront account whereas trader get no T+3 finance at all from the jupiter, Most trader request highest trading limit if possible so to grab every opportunity prevail in the market especially when the market is solidly on the uptrend just like nowadays.

That is very low. I am currently paying 0.49% and 0.21% brokerage fee for on-line trading to O.. and R.. investment banks respectively and both charge a minimum brokerage fee of RM12 per trade.

I still maintain my account with O.. investment bank although they charge me a higher brokerage fee because they give me free access to CPO and KLCI Futures (and stocks too) real-time data and intra-day charts (60 min, 30 min, 15 min, 5 min and 1 min charts). I need this data to day trade CPO Futures and to retain the service I need to maintain a minimum turnover. The service is quite expensive if I were to get it from a third party data provider.

aiseh ... why waste time on 0.15% or 0.12% or 0.10% ... it is all more or less the same ... how many cent you can save ?

concentrate on buying Analabs and Leader shares ... quickly sell-off your Compugates shares

... and you will end up like the King saying ... "HeLLo .. Broker ... here, keep the change !"

to leno and swingtrader188,

I am presently still customer for maybank and hong leong investment bank but i am using alliance bank now.

My turnover is roughly rm8 million monthly and therefore for every 0.05% fees difference my savings is rm4000 monthly. Swingtrader, there is no harm you open few trading account with different broker (when times goes by) so to take advantage of their services. All broker like hong leong, jupiter, maybank, alliance, rhb etc are using excelforce msc bhd trading platform and so far is the best in town. For me i use maybank dowjones for news, and use hong leong hlechart for technical and hong leong futures for cpo and klci futures. Be tactical, once the account open you can use it for free fro years. OSK is way to expensive and i wonder how their business still good. Imagine for every 100k transaction osk is charging at least 400 more than other brokers

Lastly before i go for lunch. Alliance T7 facilities at a rate of 0.3% service charge is very reasonable for short term traders and punters and professional contrarian. Even we are using jupiter 0.05% daytrade rate, for a trader to prolong his purchase to t7, he/she need to comes up with at least 0.36% so to rollover their purchase for another 3 days. Again, i do admit for those that don't need to borrow money for investing, jupiter is still one of the best.

well actually my poll is not complete, the options here is less. Profit% is one issue but the amount is another. If making 5k out of 5k capital that is consider easier than profit 100k out of 100k capital. agree?

But that's the only fair comparison method you can gauge performance.

Just like company's performance, if compare to competitors in terms of absolute profit, its not as meaningful as comparing profit margin.

Capital depends on one's affordability...

conmen will lure you with 5k -10k a day !!

the part losing money never mention.

they will start to flood you with the GREED !

and woala ! I fish in the net ! Lucky the fish (new shaun) manage to escape.

But never mind .... be patient ... sooner or later ... one fish will come in.

Beware ... conmen always work in group.

Another user will come in and pretend to make a lot of money following this conman advice .. then another user will support again.
