Tune Money
« on: February 02, 2007, 08:51:40 AM »
Big surprise or not... Datuk Tony Fernandes will be launching Tune Money. Rumour has it that it will have zero joining cost and low management fees. How is this possible?

If anyone else tried to do it, it would be considered a con.

I think it would be a prepaid type of concept.  Perhaps its good carrying virtual money around....  He is launching Tune Taxi and Tune Hotel as well.

Tune Hotel had almost been completed and he is charging only RM 9.99 per night.  It's located along the road where Shangrilla KL Hotel was situated (If not mistaken, the road is called Jalan Tunku Rahman).  The problem with this hotel is that, it was a former hospital  :o...Huh...I was in KL meeting two weeks ago and saw that bulding on my way back to KLIA.  The cab driver relate the history of the building to us all.  Kindda scary....
