Can anyone confirm this, I was told that MSPORTS have agreement with China shareholder that they cannot sell for 2 years. If they cannot sell for 2 years, what for they push up the share price ? Share price go up also they cant benefit from it. Maybe that explains why it cant move.

In Bursa Malaysia, there are only these explanations for stock movement :-

stock moves for whatever good or bad reason :- syndicates do give a f*ck !
stock does not move even there is good reason :- syndicates do not give a f*ck !

You seem do not understand how syndicates work ? ?

Don't judge everything by its cover !! Owner or the main culprit never show their names in the buy sell transaction !!

If you read the case of Repco Low, then you realise how he used 100 over of proxy accounts (including company account set out overseas at some tax-free island or vigin lsland etc) to FRY the stock !!
And they also pakat with all the unscrupolous analysts, remisiers to FRY !!
And ....HIS name does not even appear in any of this account !!

Securities commission need to trace tons of e-mails, sms messages etc in order to trace the evidence !!
How sophisticated these syndicates are !

If I have multi-million Cash, I could be FRYING MSPorts any time !!

The general principle for a solid investment, is that stock can stand the test of undervalue without hoping for people to goreng to lift it.

If people were to goreng that stock it is just an added bonus, not that essential. Bcos if the stock can stand the test, it has no way to go but up !

yes it is, there are many other counters in KLSE who are also undervalued with potential to move... and the question is how long are u willing to let your money get stucked in this counter and dont know what they are doing in China. I may have my assocaites visit them once, but how often can we have people visiting them to see that everything is still okay.

Based on accounts, Msports pass all my financial criteria.
But only drawback is that, i am sceptical in relying on Msports Accounts, and i am in no position to verify the accuracy of the accounting statement as the business is located in china

I think Bursa have far too many under-value companies due to low liquidity or failing to attract foreign investments, that's why all those filthy rich tycoons take the opportunity to take those under-value companies private one by one for the past few years !!

Even local companies also we have trouble trusting the accounting statement. It is important that we can see the operations and also feedbacks from their workers, suppliers and customers.

what worries me more is that XINQUAN and XDL are kaputing.. fortunately MSPORTS can still hold on well. BUT how long can it hold with such a bad market sentiment.

Why need to compare china based companies as an investment at the moment ?
When u still can select local, based companies which are still equally as attractive .

China has the "wow" factor in attracting FDI... GDP growth is 2-3x better than ours... domestic consumption is capable of offsetting any fluctuation in international consumption.

So its quite understandable why Pussy loves China soles...(n China Chick of course)

because shoe vs shoe Smiley I dont think there are any local shoe manufacturer listed. If not mistaken XINQUAN also makes shoe soles besides shoes.

My research show China top 100 counters had reasonable corporate governance equivalent to us, but beyond the top rank, the other companies, are many tiers below us.

How to isolate & identify those good lower tiers, when u don have a proper understanding the local business practices and customs and cannot really rely on their Annual Report ?

because we are talking about MSPORTS, so compare apple to apple. Each industries has its own strength and weekness.  If really want to compare across industries I think there are alot of counters out there can compete with MSPORTS.

uyafr, solely from TA standpoint, I believe Etitech will have some big movement in near future because the bollinger band is tightening and MACD is showing positive divergence to its price movement...

Uyafr, Etitech has started its engine apparently... still holding?

Thats what i m saying, if u can find local companies across industries, trading at a discount equivalent to msports, then better buy those local companies.

Anyway our objective is to make money, we do not need to buy into china shoes companies.
We are looking for attractive undervalue companies in any industries in which we have confidence and able to rely on their financial disclosures with confidence

I just sold all my remaining ETITECH... I am trying hard to clear my stocks.

I am getting more worried now as US futures turns red already. KNM with such a huge vol fails to cross 0.825... means alot of people are losing money on that one already. If Friday turns bad for US Market, Monday disaster for KLSE... Oil will drop and very unlikely KNM will go up further, so it will end up at T+2 without any gains, panicky ones starts to sell,  comes T+3 disaster.

I am keeping only KFIMA and KEYASIC at the moment, cleared my MJPERAK as well.

tonight there'll be data on employment situation... I believe ppl are anticipating it to be bad judging from last night's jobless claim data.

However, should there be any surprises in beating analyst's estimates, then I think it will be a good good night and a good good monday for us.

nope, people are expecting good unemployment data.  Europe now all red. Remember, when market is bad, good news also can become bad news. What will happen if bad news is announced ?

how is it that good unemployment data is expected? prior month is 10.0%, consensus this time is 10.1%... its more like saturating...

It is because of the anticipation of poor data that's why market is reacting like this - bleeding like crazy...
remember... stock market is a leading indicator...

XDL already carving a new LOW..... MSPORTS will be the next.... I doubt its previous low of 0.48 will hold.
With the KLCI has more room to go down till its next support at around 1170 level, think selling presurre will be there for the remaining of the week......Probably till "TIGER" is aound on 17th, then the BEAR will try to hide somewhere....

XDL's financial strength is very different from MSport !

XDL grows on gearing (very high risk), Msport grows on Cash (Cash is always the f*cking king !)

MSports is the best amongst all the red chips !

All China XXX counters listed on STI oso heading same direction.
If you are still holding MSPORTS, be VERY AFRAID now......... It's going to melt slowly as you eagerly waiting for rebound.

I rather wait for the 4Q result to be announced before making any decision.

If the fundamental is still solid, no point to sell !

Those sell and dump for no fundamental reasons can only be attributed to unreasonable fear and panic, that's all !

If the 4th Q really look bad and shaky (eg. reduce profit or loss or high receivables) then only I cut loss and sell !
