CitiBank and ING are daylight robbers
« on: November 19, 2012, 03:09:37 AM »
I signed up for Shield Premier for my Citibank credit card via telesale. My understanding was as long as every month I settle my payment in full and I will not have to pay a single cents for this shield #### insurance. However, I just received my statement for November, I notice they charged me RM16++ for this s**t. So I called Citibank customer service center to cancel the #### and they said I have to fill in a form and submit to them.
WTF, when sign up, anything can be done via telephone, but to cancel, they make things difficult. ***** bank and insurance company. So I said if that's the case, then I want to cancel the bloody credit card, and the customer service person said she is not authorized to do so.... WTF again.

Friendly reminder to call members here, please don't border to sign up anything offers by the s**t banks, especially when they said they are working together with an insurance company, these are all scam, I was stupid and totally robbed by them.

Never buy products from tele-marketing option, you see, even an insurance agent or a direct sales person that you know him or is your very good friend or relative, they need to try hard to cinvince you, sometime need to spend you lunch to sell their product, those tele-marketing people want to sell product in such an easy way? No way for me.

ALL BANKS WORKS THE SAME. IT TAKES 2 MINS FOR U TO APPLY FOR A CREDIT CARD, PLUS FREE GIFTS, BUT U WILL NEED TO LINE UP FOR 1 HR PLUS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO CANCEL THE CARD. THIS HAPPENED TO ME AT HSBC BANK.

AFTER THAT I REALLY SCARED TO APPLY CREDIT CARD.
Question 1:
Who got allotted a lot of IPOs?
Question 2:
Who can borrow a lot of money to apply IPOs?
Question 3:
Why share price never move up while u are holding it? But nearly 100% move up right after u cut loss?

Now only you know.
Next time you ask for price first, that seller may suggest you to eat first.
But of course, you would insist for the price.

Nowadays the sellers are very ^. If you try the ask for the price first, he or she may give a "muka masam", or will look down on you for being not generous in spending money.

Rm9 for a bowl of fish head in KL is more or less than standard fare.
A case in point is the famous Ah soon fish head mee in Kuchai Lama.
so its not exactly a nightlight robbers as you put it.

Never buy any insurance over the phone.....usually there is a lot of terms and conditions - fineprint.

i suddenly feel that the #### ambank card i am using is better now after i hear your case.

i just give them a called to cancel my card, no hassle~~

and something the bank n insurance company very like to do so is, u don't need to fill in anything to sign up, but when you want to cancel anything, they give you many paperwork make u boring~~

my friend bought a insurance for his mum before who can't read english n malays, he do all the paperwork on her behalf and paid for everything while his mother never appeared at the insurance company, but while they want to cancel, the insurance company insist his mother who is a thousand miles away to the office so that can sign n cancelled~~

it's a good way to protect most people and it's a #### way that to promote~
