I'm wondering... why so much hype about KLCI reaching 1350?

How they choose this number and what will happen after that?  Huh

Historically, KLCI had hit 1332 and retreated.  The second magic number is 1314.  Although it seemed to be high at 1332, it's 10 years ago.  Today, many analysts believe that KLCI could perform even better by breaching the 1400 level.  So, the 1350 could serve as support line then.

How about you all, do you belief hat KLCI can outperform the 1332?  If yes, you will also arrive at the new magical number which is higher.  So, make a choice... Smiley

Yup, he assume that IDR is a successful project for him to arrive at this number.

Huh... 2000 points is a lot to me.  Shocked It would be like more than 50% rise in KLCI.  Booffett, is there any concepts that you can share on why you think the figure is achievable.

Thank you sifu.

Earwax,

A trader must not time nor fix the market to behave in a certain way.
This is a trading sin.
Let the market decide what it wants to do.
Be ready to read the signs and take necessary actions as the situation call for.
Perhaps at that time, it calls for one to liquidate all equities.
Perhaps at that time, it calls for one to top up for more positions in equities.
There really is no need to predict/worry what will happen.  Cool

A trend is assumed to be in motion until it is stop.
Monitor the trend.
Would you say the medium term trend is up or down?

Not necessarily, I have some analysis from Gann practitioners which think D-Day is coming.

One should formulate strategy base on own analysis - hence answer to that question will tell the individual what to do Tongue

That is according to some.
If not we wont have a market right?
Someone must buy, someone must sell.
The one who buy think it ll go up somemore.
The one who sell think it ll go down already.

Who is right?
Time will tell lo.

Based on today's CI, it's surely possible for this magic number to be breached.  Definitely.  Grin
