Genting
« on: May 11, 2007, 02:26:30 PM »
RM8.10 right now should be cheap right.  However, shall wait for below RM8 coz that will translate to RM40 and below before split.  What do you think Max?

Hmm... Mega sale... I agree with Max. i think it is probably not the time yet.  i think the KLCI is not likely to close below 1346 next week. However, it is definitely important to remember to keep your stops ready if things do go unexpectedly..

Is this the mega sales or it could come even lower?  At this price, Genting is RM39 before share split..

At this price, Genting is cheap. It was like RM38.75.

I always look at PE ratio as a guide.  I feel that Genting is cheap too.  Am I right?

Cheap in relation to PE?
Then you re one step behind.
If you want to use PE, then look at analyst's report, they analyse with forecast PE - then you will be one step ahead.

Yeap, some by investment banks, The Edge, ICap, The Star, etc etc.
Then, look at their basis for the PE.
From there you see right or not.
I started off as fundamentalist and I always question analysts' report.
Some I agree, some I dont agree.

PS: This style would mean you looking at longer term horizon. It would be investing.

Its recovery might be expected but trading on his counter is still volatile with lots of trading going on.

Uncertainty on Genting’s project in Singapore had made this counter volatile.  Infact, current price was at RM39 before the dividend and the spliting.  Would it turned into megasales like mentioned by Max?  Let’s wait and see.  Prepare your M bullet…
