PBBANK CL and CJ - Advise Needed!

I am trying to understand PBBANK-CL (and CJ). They are European Style Non-Collateralised Cash-Settled warrants. And reading from this forum, it is stated that at the end of the expiry date of these warrants Public Bank will pay the warrant holders the difference (assuming PBBANK mother share price is above the warrant's exercise price).

Public Bank issues these warrants to raise money right? So eg. they issue 100,000,000 warrants at 0.15. So they raise 15,000,000. Is this correct? Why does PBBank want to raise RM15m (such a small amount)? Maybe these warrants were issued as a sweetener with some other instruments?

Anyway, at the expiry of the warrants, assuming PBBANK is selling for RM15.00. So each PBBANK-CL has a theoretical value of RM15-9.89 (strike price) = RM5.11/8 (8 to 1 conversion) = RM0.638.

I have read in another post by ahbah that there we don't need to do anything before the expiry ie. we don't need to sell our PBBANK CL (and CJ) before the expiry. If they are in the money, Public Bank will pay/settle with us. The formula for PBBANK CJ (per ahbah's post) is (PBBank price - Rm7.50) / 4. So for PBANK CL it's (RM15.00 - 9.89)/8 = RM0.638 ie. same as above theoretical value.

Does this mean (for this example) that at the end of the expiry date Public Bank will pay each of the PBBANK CL holder RM0.638 for each PBBANK CL they hold? So the PBBANK CL holder will make RM0.638 - 0.15 (let's assume the person bought in at RM0.15) = RM0.488 (good profit! 3 times money!).

QUESTION - 100,000,000 warrants x RM0.638 = RM63,800,000. So Public Bank raises RM15m then pays out RM63.8m? Does not make sense!? What am I missing here?

So how does CIMB, the issuer of these warrants, make money? They raise RM15m, but have to pay out much more if and when PBBANK is higher than the strike price.

Can anybody enlighten us all? I believe it will help us all understand the mechanics of these structure warrants better.

Do u mind to enlightened me? i m still very confused of the this pbb cj / cl. I just bought following investlah forumers buy call at 82cts last year. My question are:

1. must i sell before the expiry sept 2010?
2. if i dont sell b4 expiry, what will happen to my money?
3. it seemed to me that this warrant share is very much depend on mother, so, what's the potential fate of the mother by sep 2010?
4. what would my cj fate if cimb were to take over PBB as per rumours?

correct me if my calculation below is wrong

assume pbb price by sep 2010 - RM15
(rm15-7.5)/4 = 1.875
(1.875 - 0.82) = rm1.050 x 10,000 shares = RM10,500 profit

Means i will gain rm10,500 by sep 2010 vs my tp1.30 (b4 CNY) -0.82 = rm4800

Why warrant from CIMB do not adjust as what happen to PBBANK-CK (From OSK).

The DISTRIBUTION OF SHARE DIVIDEND should adjust the warrant. Now only those OSK adjusted but warrant from CIMB not being adjust.
