im just puzzled, whats the relation with Oil price sinking with Gas Malaysia IPO??? If Gas price drop, the tariff still maintain to consumers means more as profit right? The direct relation to Oil Price would be Petronas Gas they are suppliers of the Gas to Gas Malaysia and GM surely want to buy lower gas blocks futures .... kan?

According to my sources..MITI will only give priority with RM200K pledge only..small small buys dont wanna entertain coz of Khazanah's way to make them look good during IPO listing nanti But im more interested with KPJ..surely 1 week before IHH's listing ppl start to release some shares to rally up for IHH on open market

dont think u read the news: 2012 - they will pay 100% of net profit to dividend 2013 onward - dividend policy 75% there are a few companies that say dividend policy more than 75%. Pchem dividend policy is 50%

Why i chooses this IPO 1. Defensive stock as utilities are generally stable. 2. Cash rich company as seen in management's guideline to declare 100% of PAT as dividend for 1st year, and 70% for subsequent years. 3. One of the better IPOs for this year (Third Largest IPO's after FGVH & IHH) - those who missed MSM and Armada will come in strong for this. Gas Malaysia is the sole distributor of natural gas to the non-power sector and currently supplies energy to more than 700 industrial, 13,352 residential and 528 commercial customers in Peninsular Malaysia Gas Malaysia's steady cashflow and strong balance sheet with zero-gearing track record would attract good investor for the IPO.

Gas Malaysia buys Natural Gas and sells/supplies to end users or power plants. Since Gas price is relatively cheap, and even cheaper in the states...around $2 something, compared to $85 for Oil, it does not benefit the companies involved in extracting it, but it definitely benefits middle men. Considering tariffs are fixed, Gas Malaysia stands to gain alot from cheap gas prices. Plenty of future!
